The Issue:

A government commissioned infrastructure developer required assistance in creating an overall risk analysis concerning the location of new infrastructure assets.

The Approach:

We provided highly granular AIS data that helped determine traffic density, compared to other water areas and vessel size. The Lloyd’s List Intelligence data team also delivered a data cut showing casualty details related to vessel segments and water areas over time.

The Outcome:

The vessel movement data we provided was fundamental in helping the customer meet its due diligence obligations and overall risk representations to the various stakeholders.
