How it helps

MichaelF BIBA awardCongratulations to Insurance Day Editor, Michael Faulkner, on winning Scoop of the Year at the BIBA Journalist of the Year Awards, held in London on 4th July 2017.

The award highlighted Faulkner’s article, the Cuban Premium Crisis, published in Insurance Day in June last year, for breaking the news that Xchanging, the London market’s central processing platform, could no longer process premiums and claims connected to Cuba and Iran.

Managing Editor of Insurance Day, Richard Meade, said “This award is a testament to Insurance Day’s commitment to the highest standards of business journalism. Our subscribers have long understood the value of Michael’s incisive reporting and market-leading scoops, but the BIBA honour is a well-deserved recognition of the authoritative analysis that has made Insurance Day required daily reading for the entire market. My congratulations and thanks go to the world class team at Insurance Day and to Michael for his great success.
